Interviewed at Deloitte, PwC and EY for Advisory Senior Consultant role. Deloitte offered $105K (plus $5K bonus), PWC offered $127K (plus $15K bonus) and EY offered $155K (plus $10K bonus). Surprised with the difference in pay between Deloitte & EY for same role. Is Deloitte Advisory paying less compared to other firms? 4.5YOE in Consulting.

Thinking about accepting a software engineering offer for BCG Digital Ventures . can anyone working there tell me about the work culture, learning opportunities, and exit opps . Im also interviewing with Zillow and am deciding wether to wait or take an offer. I’m really intrigued by the idea of building ventures and learning alot on the technical and entrepreneurial sides, but the opportunity to work for a tech unicorn is also very intriguing

I don’t have a single thought about interns at pwc and what they do or think.
haha seems fair
Maybe he is a smart guy who wants to be around smart people/be pushed. My younger brother is similar and has expressed disappointment at the quality of people at his T2 firm - he expected more from them.
I guess it’s something that motivates some people who are starting out in their careers.
I also don’t think audit/compliance is the place for very smart people or the area to showcase intelligence and creativity. It is largely box ticking and following something that has been laid out and repeated over and over. Not rocket science
yeahh makes sense tbh

"Well I was going to turn them down anyway" sounds like something someone who is worried they won't get a full time offer would say
Was he the ‘toast’ of your cohort?
oh loll haha
Sounds like a hardo. I’m in FDD and a lot of our campus hires have the “I’m too good for audit attitude” and look down on them. Audit is Great job security and partnership with 7 figure upside doesn’t seem like a career for idiots.
yeah that’s very true, the Partners make $$$$
