I have received an offer letter from ZS as DAC.
lets suppose they offered X amount
and I was able to negotiate and increase the offer..
now I have mail confirmation from the HR of the new compensation structure that it has been set in backend. however he is saying offer letter cant be changed..so i had to sign the old offer letter while i have mail confirmation for new compensation.
Is this okay ? will there be problem later ?

Hello Guys,
I Got one Offer from Fynd but that is too low for me and as per my expereince
They are giving me 9 LPA bcz I quoted that amount when I applied for it long back. at that time I didnt know more about how salary and all calculated and whats the market research
Now after clearing all the rounds when we meet for salary discussion i told him my real desired salary as per experience and market reseach
He told me that I quoted 9 LPA so we can not do more "unless you have any counter offer"

You can start that conversation. When you have your first talk with the recruiter, you can say something like, “Just to make sure we’re thinking along the same lines regarding comp, I’m looking for $xxx as a base salary.” Then you say the biggest number you can say out loud without laughing and stop talking. :)

I try to have the $$$ convo early to avoid wasting time.

There are two schools of thought, I guess. Make them fall in love with you first, then they will be more flexible to your ask, as they won’t want to lose you.
Or, get it out of the way and don’t waste your time.
They say time is money, but in this case money is money. Give yourself all the leverage you can before negotiating.
Same reason car salesman don’t either
They also want to package the benefits and perks into the overall offer and not everyone gets all the perks and benefits. The longer they talk to you the better they know if you deserve them and what you’ll settle for based on your previous situation. It’s a game.
Always start with a range at least.
