When to ask for an update for a role? For recruiters, I recently went through two interviews for a company. I believe the interviews went great, and I want to check and see if the HR and Director have made a choice on candidates. The HR person responded last week saying they would make a choice this week. Would it be too soon to check in with them? I don't want to seem pushy but I also want them to know I'm very interested.

Can we say that we already have an offer in the other company interviews?

When you hear the title “consumer product manager” vs “product marketing manager”what job responsibilities do you assume each person has? Or do they seem the same? There has been some confusion internally for a new team/role and wanted to get a check from all of you on perception!

I’ve noticed that HR, when explaining why a candidate didn’t get the job, tend to lean on “You’re great, but we had candidates with more experience in [skill relevant to the job].” I do believe this is true in some cases, but it can’t possibly be for all of them.
