Curious what other junior associates at PR agencies are making off the bat? I earned my master’s degree last year and accepted a JA role for $36K. Recently, my salary was adjusted to $40K due to having been on the lower end of the pay spectrum for my role. Wondering if my new salary is more aligned with others at my level.

Start dates - have the option to start in Dec or Jan. Jan is better for me, but wondering if there’s an advantage to joining Google in Dec? (Eg. Refreshers etc.)

I’m job searching right now and applied for a job I was a little overqualified for just to shoot my shot and get my foot in the door with a great brand. The hiring mgr took the time to email me to tell me I was overqualified and offered to help me get connected to his network. He’s been so kind and helpful and I’m kind of in shock at his generosity. Even if an offer doesn’t come from it, is it weird if I send him a Starbucks gift card or something as a thank you? What’s appropriate?

When I called HR to change the date she told me to first accept the offer letter and resign from the current company and give me the screenshot of your resignation mail. So I did as she told. But till now my joining date is not changed in the offer letter and HR is not replying to any email, call or sms. What should I do now?
