When you apply to a job on LinkedIn and it has the hiring manager listed should you reach out to them when you apply? Haven't looked hard for a job since college lol my exit from b4 was someone who recruited me so not sure how cold applying works etiquette wise

I have 2nd round (final?) with EY for Product Manager position. I am being told that’s it’s the same as first round but at different level (first was with Manager, this is with Senior Manager). Anyone has any experience on how different these rounds are and what should I do differently to prepare? It’s a behavioral interview.

Three days later recruiter wants to give me a call and “give an update”. Schedules it after 2 days. This morning cancels last minute as they are having “internal discussions”. I had a weird exp. with Wipro. I had my interview for AI/ML role which I cleared. They said, Your next round of the interview will be sched. this upcoming sat. I waited for their call but didn't get any response. I tried to contact the concerned HR but no response.
I sent the mails, No reply.
After that, I got the call that job location has changed, it's Bangalore, Pune. Are you interested.?
I said, I am ok with it. He said, Ok.
Call disconnected. It's been 2 weeks, still waiting.

Quick question.
I was a contractor for a big company and they just let me know that my last day is December 30th. I got this position thanks to a recruiting company that has been great and gives me benefits.
Should I:
- Continue working with the recruiting company, hoping that they will find another position for me? (as they told me they will, and when they applied me I started working with my current company within 2 weeks)
- Work with the recruiter + apply for jobs on my own?

Still sitting and waiting (1.5 weeks) to have the conversation about compensation expectations and finalizing the offer. Is the Google hiring process typically this slow? If you make it to senior manager at big four can you leave and become partner or director at mid size firm? Is this hard to do? I know there is a lot of politics at big four and have no interest staying in a senior manager role for 6-8 years and risk a chance of still not becoming partner.
