Jesus Dan, we asked if everyone was ok with it! You could have just said something!
🙅🏻♀️
Man. Family style is awesome, how can you not like trying a bunch of stuff. If you want your own thing just get it, and just try some of the other food. Goodness gracious.
Try being a vegetarian and people thinking the lousy house salad is an acceptable dinner option.
What’s funny is everyone’s diet is a choice, you choose to eat meat and just expect it to be the norm
Pro tip: family style apps and individual entrees
👏🏻
I love family style
HATE. I always feel greedy eating too much of the shared food and there’s rarely enough. I’m fine with sharing an app but PLEASE give me my own entree at least
If that’s the hold up, eat up! Order a second of the dish if it’s popular promise you’ll look like a boss to your whole team if you’re confident enough to see that somethings in short supply and you take initiative to order more.
I always end up still hungry after “family style” because then you look like a greedy bitch ordering your own food on top of what the group is ordering. Lol
Korean BBQ = family style. No exceptions.
I love Korean BBQ, but similar to Hibachi and Mexican I’m not a fan of going in work clothes - especially if they cook it at your table. Usually requires the hassle of hotel dry cleaning.
Good reason to call in sick tomorrow. EAT UP!
Nut allergy here, family style is the WORST.
My current team does family style a lot. It's super frustrating because I keep kosher and don't want to police who used what spoon for what so I've just started ordering my own food to avoid answering too many questions about why I would eat something at the start of the meal but now can't.
My partner does this. Partner, please stop. I will never truly tell you what I want to eat, I will just be agreeable to all your decisions, as per usual.
