McKinsey & Company I am joining the McKinsey & Company Boston office in late July and searching for housing in the meantime. If I could get some insight on the ratio of days in the office vs work from home that would be super helpful!
If I need to come into the office regularly I will try to find a place close by.
Bain & Company My 13 YO is taking Career and Tech. She is dead set on diving for Michigan. What are her chances of getting hired from MBB with a degree from UM? Or would she need her MBA first? Is a Michigan degree good enough to get you into a top MBA program?

Bain & Company Is anyone else getting their application to Bain & Company pushed backed?
As of yesterday, even though I applied in May, and that while they liked my application, they will not be considering me till early 2023.
This is the second time they pushed back their consideration... 😞

In addition to material on McK’s website, I’d recommend trying to search for some B-schools’ casebooks online. Here’s Wharton 2010. Good luck, OP!

Yep I would say look through case books, and victor cheng did a set of McK style cases specifically that I thought were really helpful. They’re overly long / a little too detailed in the answers so keep that in mind, but excellent to practice with

Also if you are invited to interview you’ll be paired with a recruiting buddy who can run you through past cases to prep.
^ the “complete story” piece is true of interviewee-led cases too! I’ll also note that Bain isn’t necessarily just interviewee-led cases; I actually had the opposite during a few interviews a few years back, and many interviews these days mix it up too.
So OP, be prepared for both styles! I second what McK1 said above on practicing with friends across firms - I thank my McK friend for helping me get the Bain offer bc I don’t think I would’ve been prepared for the interviewer led style otherwise 🙃
I did IGotAnOffer for MBB and it was soooo helpful
I only purchased the Mckinsey one but it was SO helpful I think it’s definitely worth it!
Thank you all!
