Try Goosehead Insurance. They can shop a lot of the bigger brands and even do different brands between auto and home insurance.

Nope. You can use a broker to do the work for you though.

Many of the larger companies don’t sell through brokers.
How is Hippo insurance? Any experience?
I believe they restricted new business for the time being. Which probably means they were much cheaper than the competitors lol
I recently shopped, I compiled a sheet with all of the important info (cars, homes, rental homes, umbrella, etc) with coverage amounts, vin numbers, addresses etc. I called up a local agent for each of the big providers and told them I’d email the info, I’m shopping, and get me the best rates and I’ll use them. Tried a few independent brokers too.
I used apple “hide my email” and used my Google voice telephone number for contact info, I use it for spam.
Compiled an excel doc to compare the 7 or so places I got and I chose the best priced one. Turned out to be State Farm.
As others mentioned, many brokers don’t have access to the big insurance companies.
