Incoming MBA, I have my tuition paid for and rent covered (I will be an RA). So the only thing I need to pay for is food and entertainment. Do you think 20k is enough to last me through the 2 years? Need help on how to invest. We are positioned to pay off our house later this year. Expect to work for another ~20 years. 401k fully funded and have some company stock investments maturing over the next few years, but no investments outside of that. Kids have a prepaid college plan for certain schools. Emergency fund is solid. Where should I look to start investing? I have fidelity for my 401k, would they be good to open a taxable investment account with, or are there better options?

I’m 25 and have found a duplex I’m considering purchasing as a rental property. Planning on renting both units and have the cash to make the down payment without an issue. My cash flow analysis has a payback period of 3 years for my down payment and a 13 year payback period for the whole investment. I think financially it makes sense. My question is, is it realistic for a 25 year old young professional to handle dealing with all the extra curricular’s that come with owning a rental property ?

I like the Apple Card and considering opening one but want to see if there are better alternatives. It’s enticing that if I lose my card, I can instantly change the number so someone can’t use it. Plus no numbers means someone can’t randomly make a large fraudulent purchase.

After I max out my:

1.) 401k for the year
2.) My HSA for the year
3.) ROTH IRA for the year

What do people invest in after that? Whats the most tax advantaged way to save once you have maxed all of the above out?

Many people shared an advice on investing after contributing to max 401k, IRA, HSA. After paying off debt, invest the extra money.

I want to know when do you think is the time to stop contributing to HSA? We have insurances that can take care of majority of expenses. I am 31, married, with no kids yet, no major health issues.

If I have two 401ks (current job and previous job), does the 19k limit apply to both of them together or 19k each?

If I were to rollover a pension lump sum into one of those 401ks, is counted towards the $19k limit? Or is rollover classified differently and I could still continue to contribute to my current 401k?

I maxed out my Roth IRA contribution thinking I'd be safe from the income limits however my wife brought way too much $$$ than anticipated this year. It's a good problem to have but not sure what I need to do with my Roth IRA for the year 2021. Impossible to get a hold of Merrill to discuss options.
