In hand salary?

My base loc is Bengaluru, but currently I am not mandatorily required to work from office, and have been working from home since I joined Deloitte in July. Should I talk to my manager and go back to my hometown Kolkata and work from there? Staying in PG all day and working from here is not quite feasible for me. Suggest pls. Deloitte India

Boeing. It’s not going anywhere (in terms of it’s not going bankrupt).
Boeing isn’t an airline
Why airline? Feel like trying to catch a falling knife to me..

Airline? DL or WN. DL has a ton of cash and good management, and WN has efficiencies (even if they carry more leisure travelers).
Lax was dehubbed, similar to their [bad] strategy at JFK where they don’t want to compete. And LAX is one of the worst yielding intl gateways with the plethora of Asian carriers dumping prices. So lax is not the problem, it was actually good. Plus their partnership with AS will provide west coast feed to their potential SEA hub with their 3 other JV partners who currently fly.
I agree AA&UA are in the worst positions, but that was evident before this, AA the most just look at their stock/performance/reliability etc. But DL is now going to have to make tough choices, they’re losing corporate contracts for the time being, have a big stake in a lot of intl airlines that also aren’t flying, and have a bunch of headaches from airlines trying to take advantage of the situation to reposition themselves. While B6 isn’t a corporate behemoth, their Mint product does challenge on TCON from BOS/JFK (other big DL hubs) that AA is also leveraging to feed. Plus DLs push into MIA before because of LATAM, I wouldn’t bet on any US Intl airline. Unless you want to really long stock, just feel there’s better options.

Southwest based on volume of leisure travel. Business travel won’t come back anytime soon. Companies won’t travel as much due to the experience using zoom and other video conference successfully. Leisure travel will bounce back, as people will want to vacation and people will want to see family.
I’m with VP1 on this. Sure, leisure travel will certainly be hurt for a while but it’ll make a full comeback. We’ll never see business travel back to it’s previous volume. Businesses are realizing how much money they can save and how, in many cases, travel wasn’t necessary.
Zoom. Redfin.
Marriott will not disappear. They have real asset. Once the vaccine is available people will stay in hotels. Do you think marriott has the better prospect to bounce back? Personally do not like Hilton brand but possibly they have a great prospect too!
