Hello, I have an offer from Publicis Sapient for their product management internship program. Wondering if anyone has any insight into the program (exits, etc) and how the return offer looks like in terms of salary. I still also hold an interest in data science so might go with another offer but I’m not sure if it is a wise choice to let go of a PM offer while I have it.

Aren’t we already in an economic downturn/recession? I don’t understand the 1-2 year statement
Statement is based off of projections financial institutions have been reporting on (e.g., Goldman, Fannie Mae, Deutsche Bank, etc.) — it’s likely that we are actually currently living through a recession (6 months of economic downturn) but it isn’t recognized as one yet.
regardless, the question I asked is still relevant (imo)

I think this is a good question. It really depends on the type of work they do and how stable their line of business and clients are. If they're in turnarounds and M&A, it may matter less. Other things may be more relevant; I imagine ESG, market research, and even some growth projects may take a back seat for cash strapped companies.
Personally, I may pry a little further into the type of work they do and if they expect the type of work or "way they help clients" to shift in the event of a downturn.
Million dollar question. I’m also looking for an answer. I’m realizing it all depends on your situation. How much increase are you getting? Is it worth the risk? Are you that unhappy in your current job? Does this small company have better career prospects for you? Assuming worst case scenario is you move, recession hits and you get laid off, would that be absolutely devastating to you? Do you have a safety net if things go bad? What would you gain from moving and what would you lose (and vice versa what would you gain/lose from staying)?

This is a good question to ask once you get your offer. It's a valid concern.
