Who all has specific commercialization and business development teams and what role does your finance team play in it? We just kicked off a focus on growth and finance wasn’t included on commercialization of new products or partnerships beyond given tasks to review mutliple stages into the project. Is this the norm or am I reasonable to feel annoyed that finance is perceived as a check the box team.

My client’s site got hacked yesterday. I didn’t see any actual signs of impending attack. But knowing how little we do for cyber security when building a site, I knew we must have been vulnerable in some way. I’ve tried pushing for more cybersecurity measures in the last year, but being a Jr, I don’t know a lot about it. But in my current position, we’ve been adding quite a few new projects (and our team is partner, two staff, and me) that will probably start over the next couple of months.
