As a senior copywriter is it odd to have 6 pieces in your book or is that not enough?

First year associate thinking about making the just from medium sized reputable IP firm to In House. Started at said firm summer of 1L year as a law clerk/patent agent in May 2019, have worked through school and full time as associate since Sept 2021. Feeling very “stuck” in day to day work. Love the patent/IP space but drafting and pros w/minimal human interaction is getting very difficult. Thinking In House would be better, but not sure how much experience needed. Thoughts?

My company blames my generation for not being able to hire everyday. “You guys don’t want to work” coming from some overweight, racist, old coaster. I was able to work out a deal with my company before I came because of prior experience luckily, but they offer a terrible base salary and sham of a commission structure to new hires + no remote. I had a job interview for a role that I really want. The hiring manager scheduled me for an interview and did not show up. Emailed me an hour later stating that he got super busy and couldn’t attend, and would like to reschedule.
