I don’t think it’s a marketing issue… you would likely have trouble finding that comp at director level for most functions in Miami.
It’s tough if you moved here with the higher cost of living area salary (assume you get to keep the pay from CA/NY for example). It’s almost impossible to change job and expect to get comparable or higher pay here. Like D1 said, it’s apparent Miami-based companies don’t pay much and even certain large corporations salary structure for Miami area isn’t high. 200k+ salary is extremely tough here.

All salaries are super low in Miami tbh. Low margin, low salary main industries in the metro areas.
