Does anyone here work for Silicon Valley Bank? They recently acquired Boston Private. I’m a candidate for a job at Boston Private. Wondering if SVB is planning layoffs in the near term at BP? Also, does anyone know the anticipated benefits to be rolled out from SVB as the parent company? Specifically interested in health insurance providers. Thanks in advance for any information! Any IPS Advisory folks out here ?
Currently I'm in a depressed and indecisive state with very low confidence. My salary is very much below par with respect to my experience.
YoE : 4
CTC : 5.25 lpa
I'm not prepared to make a switch . Is it ethical to ask my manager to revise the CTC . If yes , how much can I ask . Need your valuable inputs 🙏

I joined from industry, if I see a strategy heavy resume it can be off putting even if it's from a big firm, as I dont need someone to strategize I need someone who can execute on the strategy we've got. Does your resume speak to your ability to execute and deliver beyond the strategy.

D2 untwist your panties... I was referring to when I was in my industry role.
And yes I could have been clearer but it's 930 on a Friday
I got them all through cold emailing on LinkedIn vs just applying.
Employees basically. I just searched “join my team” + company and sorted. I’m still in the pipeline for one of them and actively interviewing. Obviously at this point I can’t say I converted to a FT role but I think it will in the end.
Keep going. It took me 4 years and 8 applications before I finally landed my dream job here
That’s so great to hear! What job did you get? And is the WLB as great as people are saying? I’m really hoping to not work more than 40 hours on average / flexible working hours. Right now my average is about 60 😵
What’s your technical background ?
I used to develop a UI and RFID apps for an inventory software firm. Background in python, SQL, Oracle / Salesforce implementations, general cloud and enterprise architecture strategy
We’re pretty much in a hiring freeze and have been for well over a month now
Hence “pretty much” a hiring freeze, large majority of roles cut across the board
Why do u want microsoft or google!?
Great WLB, culture, interesting products
What role are you in interested in ? And applying to?
So I am at Google. I have seen CSM being more experienced, but could be wrong.. with ur background I would recommend TAM as easiest/ best fit. Also cloud is more likely to lift hiring freeze than other divisions.

Msft also at a similar “mostly” hiring freeze.
Id check back in 2 months for both companies
I know they are hiring for a position at my team for solution engineer. Your background of implementing stuff may help.
