Depending on rates, at least $1m but not over $2m. Everything else depends on specifics.
What’s the net profit (after salary, overhead etc) on that $5M?
We have a partner at our firm that has about $5M but gives out 20% discounts on his rate and runs at about a net $300,000 loss each year.
What are you upset about? The partner’s comp or the discounted rates?
What’s the Firm’s total revenue? How long has 5 been your number? Where do you rank for originators at the firm?
I'd guess, assuming you are collecting all of the billables, $1.3 to $1.7 range depending on actual overhead. My overhead is low, and I still do not rake more than about 35%
Total origination is 5 million. My billables (which are primarily on my book) are about 600k.
Do you manage all of that $5M and how much of that is your collections?
If you’re managing all of it, I assume your collections are all from that $5M too? How much of the $5M is your personal collections?
