Low pay is justified with “amazing culture.” I know engineers making 80k who would be making 150k in industry. Below average PTO and working on holidays such as NYE and Xmas eve. Not a ton of friendships in the office as far as I see - folks just seem heads down

like

80k? Their average salary on Glassdoor is over 6 figures. Is this just a tactic to get people in the door?
Asking because I’m currently being recruited by slalom and they refuse to talk salary. Am I wasting my time??

like

Why not tell them your salary? Wouldnt you just use it your current salary as the base and use it to build your case for more?

Great culture, great salary. I have zero complaints.

If you don't speak up at review time it's on you.

Hi everyone,
I want to learn Salesforce Tableau CRM (formerly known as Einstein Analytics) and switch to a different organisation. In my current company stuck in a project where there's no learning scope, no growth and work culture is toxic. Now I'm only going through Trailhead, YouTube playlist videos and practicing hands on in my free personal org. Are these enough to crack interviews or not? I don't have real-time project experience.

Case load= malpractice? Small plaintiff’s firm of 25 attorneys. I was a 2 year associate hired and given 50 active files in pre litigation status. 9 mos later a partner quit and I inherited 45 more. Hi guys, have you ever cried in a workplace. How does it feel if no one helps you when u ask something and they don’t respond at all if u are even asking doubts to them. Everyday I m crying coz of the culture since it’s a full time work from home we will have to call people in teams for helps and doubts and every time no one respond us and they make us think that we are unfit for this job and I cry at work everyday.. does this mean r they asking me to leave the job indirectly!!!

I am product designer with a fair amount of experience (6yrs).

Recently was interviewed for a Sr. role in Booking but unfortunately, the team finds me better suited as a core individual contributor.

I am also in the advanced stages of some lead designer positions in other companies.

However I am really interested in joining the team at Booking, especially because of the design culture.

What should be my reasons to accept or not accept the offer from booking?

RE Attorneys: When sending title objection letters, how do simplify them for parties on the other side who “just don’t get it”? I try my hardest to explain the purpose of the TOL and that most of the objections will be handled by the title company, but most sellers don’t understand, ignore the TOL, and blow the seller response deadline. Most of the time the only response that is needed is “Yes, Seller agrees to satisfy all B-I requirements and to execute an owners affidavit at closing...”
