Do you find you are able to excel in your position even though you’re also a mother/wife/full time employee?

I really get annoyed when people make comments about “putting their career on hold” why? Why can’t both be achieved I feel as though I am successful in my career I worked very hard for. I guess the moral is don’t let others discourage you with their words.

I've got some friends who work remote jobs, and every day I grow more jealous of them during my one-hour commute.

Is my relationship worth it? Met my SO of 3 years senior year of college. Hoped we would graduate and start our full time jobs together, but my SO is unfortunately still in school (switched majors, transferred schools, etc). Our relationship has taken a big hit, as I am moving forward with my life but he is still in school and can’t find a job. I am also starting to resent him and he is turning more insecure. Girlfriend has very obvious high functioning anxiety and body image issues that she admits but thinks she doesn’t need therapy or medication and that reading self-help books will help her. It’s not changing in the last several years and it’s impacting our relationship. Anyone have experience with their SO dealing with untreated anxiety? How do i find out if I will be happier divorced or more unhappily staying married. 2 kids; 2 & 4 YO. They don’t hear the arguments after bed time and don’t understand the bruises yet but I know it’s just a matter of time. It would be so much harder not seeing my kids everyday than living with the pain, loneliness and lost friendships. But I’m tired. And so sad. Lost. So alone. This job is not for women with kids unless you go on some sort of reduced schedule or stay up super late most nights after the kids are asleep. This is so impossible!! 😖 just needed to vent somewhere
