Not many jobs in SD. Market is saturated and salaries are low. I know hardly any local consultants. I have always traveled or worked from home.
I would keep or take a job with a SF based company before coming down.
San Diego has become very expensive (especially over the last 2-3 years) and wages here aren’t keeping up with the rising COL
Salaries are definitely lower in SD. Before all that is happening, SD wasn’t even HCOL. It was MCOL. Homes literally doubled in price since 2017-2018.
Bachelor’s degree, outside sales/home improvement industry, 10-plus year’s experience, $350-400k.
Damn. Is that commission-based? That’s pretty nice.
Yes San Diego is a lower salary. Because corporations don’t base the salary on the cost of living but the “market”. And as some have noted already San Diego cost of living has skyrocketed in the past few years.
