Hi All,
Looking to make the move from working in industry to big4 and was curious as to what level and pay I might be worth?
I have 10 years experience out of uni, as well as completed CPA and MBA. I have a experience in managing entire finance function of small/medium entities, but most notably solid corporate finance experience/strategy leading refinance exercises, debt raising, hedging/treasury strategy etc…Would be looking for something in deal advisory / M&A / CFO advisory etc….thanks Deloitte EY PwC @

Go MBB. Then if it’s not for you bschool. Better be cool opp and better role post bschool.
If you got in once, you can get in again. Technically, that would be true for either option. Consider also that an MBB in hand could help you:
A. Get into a better MBA
B. Get into exactly what post-MBB role you want since you've already worked there and will have an easier time networking.

MBB on your resume will allow much better and higher pay recruiting post MBA eg. PE. If you thrive at your new firm you may even get fully sponsored for bschool.
I generally think the reason to get an MBA is more than just to get a new job. So if you’re serious about the MBA for it’s own sake, you wouldn’t ditch it for a job (other than something truly incredible)
Depends on the role whether you get sponsored.:.
See if you can switch B school to an executive program and you can do both at the same time.
Take MBB, defer b school 1 year
I wouldn’t let the sunk cost of inability to defer stop you! Worth the $200K sponsorship if you go from MBB
Are you entering as a generalist? If so, depending on your age, it makes sense to go to mbb and reassess in a year or 2 if you should reapply. You’ll be a stronger candidate and could get into better schools or get $$$ from schools that admitted you
MBB. Free yourself from the independence dungeon. Get your moneyyyy, grow your moneyyyy.
Mbb.

Would recommend going to a better bschool unless you want to work in CA or love entertainment
100% work, unless you’re already loaded
