Thanks for the advice. I definitely make it s point to show I’m interested in talking to her. But I don’t catch similar vibes of her wanting to hang outside of work. She seems super straight lol but so do I. Definitely a shot in the dark with this 💆♀️
Soooo OP how did it go?
How are y’all so invested 😂😂 thanks for caring. She left the firm so nothing happened
I think being straightforward about your identity could help! Like wearing a rainbow bracelet or bringing it up in casual conversation. That way you can gauge the response: yay or nay 🤣
Yeah that’s the problem lol..not out but also don’t think it’s a requirement. I don’t think everyone need to have the privilege to know but idk how I would subtly bring it up either. We are both mid 20s she’s a senior but not my boss so we are peers.
I wouldn't worry about establishing identities if they aren't apparent. You can always talk about your respective identities after you get the first date.
Use the girl-code to your advantage. See if she wants to grab drinks, coffee, or sweets after work. It may be less of lack of interest and more of a not-dating-coworkers self-imposed rule
For a hangout bc I get paranoid about that being apparent without confirmation it’s mutual. Do you typically. If you’re attracted to a girl who aren’t sure is queer, do you typically not act until evident otherwise?
What’s your position in the firm, OP? The position matters a LOT. And what’s the coworkers position?
Yeah that’s super sound advice. She seems super busy whereas in new to the city so feel insecure about lack of social options. I’ll try to stick an opportunity in if I get a chance!
