Hi guys :) Glad to join fishbowl and this community. Guys I have an offer of 14.41 ctc from a big 4 (11 is fixed).
Technology-Microsoft Dynamics 365(I am a functional consultant in SCM and HR; Relevant exp: 3 yrs & Total exp: 4 yrs).
My interviews in IBM are done and I am waiting for the salary discussion with HR.
What is the likely offer that I am going to get? Any idea? (My expectation is 16.5 lpa ctc). I will adjust my expectations as per replies here.
Any response is highly appreciated :)

If you are a rat, I guess you do.
Mind ya business lol
The correct answer
Snitching for what? We’re passed that age. People deserve breaks too
Remember every petty thing you do will come back and haunt you. What’s the outcome? They get in trouble and have to stay for that day? Do they find out you’re a rat and now it’s an even more unpleasant working environment. Or maybe are your managers knee jerk types and they get let go, now you have to cover their work more. Who knows.
Simple answer- Just do it yourself, and take a day off next week.
Never, ever, make decisions based on impulse emotions instead of logic. Professionally or personally. Think of all the dominos that can fall after you flick the first one. The cascade of cause and effect is not just for physics and Rube Goldberg machines. Every choice made has consequences, intended or not.
Also, who wants to be a rat.
Quickest way to make an enemy who will return the favor the first chance they get.
Or you just call in sick too?
Why do you care how someone else spends their days off?! Personally, I’m two years from retiring and one of my few regrets is not using more days! Mind your own business- aren’t you busy working anyway? LET THEM
OP how old are you?
I think this is more tricky than it appears on the surface. The issue isn’t about ratting someone out; it’s about knowing that you’re going to have extra work dumped on you.
My suggestion: Act like you hadn’t heard anything. Don’t tattle. It may feel unfair, but it’s probably going to cause the fewest problems in the long run.
For those of you who work in areas where you have to cover for your peers at some point due to either illness or PTO or an outright leave, get over it. That’s how it works for everybody in your department.
If they’re on PTO, then they should prep everything so nothing has to be dealt with by their peers. If they’re just calling out for the day as long as it’s not an urgent emergency, what is there to cover for them?
OP skip this problem, you don’t need it. You also don’t need to cover the shift if you’re not available. Do what you can, protect your peace and don’t create a new never ending problem for yourself
“Play hookie?” Tf you mean, y’all don’t get PTO?
🤐 roll w it
Don’t be a cop
Tell them you overheard them and do not appreciate having to do two jobs and getting paid for one. I would not run to the boss, I would professionally talk to the hookee...smh..people are work!
