PwC 🐠, I interviewed with the firm about 6 months ago for a Senior Associate position on the forensics team. I wasn’t extended an offer because the position was given to an internal transfer, at least what I was told. I tried reaching out to the recruiter I worked with last time but the email bounced back and wouldn’t be delivered. I was hoping to see / reapply if the group still was looking for seniors.
In your opinion, would it be best to reapply as a cold application?
Hedge fund or VC route?

Interested in becoming an ISKCON full time volunteer

Do you like ISCKON and are you specifically a devout Krishna devotee ? Dedicating your remaining life would require that commitment and alignment. From the outside it can seem culty but I find the people associated genuinely blissful who seem to have found meaning in their lives.
My sense is it starts with you volunteering for seva, Kirtans etc and showing up very regularly without fail - you should have an open conversation with the high priest of the center once you've built some rapport.
The only thing that jumps out at me is the motivation - is it because you are unemployed and this gives you structure or is it because you are obsessed with krishna. I assume you're very young - what happens when you eventuallly go through a bad time at isckon or faith goes through a test or you run into a head you don't like will you regret not being the best at consulting and jumping in to isckon too soon ? Will your faith carry you through the periods of darkness?
I am not trying to be preachy - I have similar thoughts, so I can relate but I'm not about Krishna or isckon - I think of dedicating my life to being an Aghori, tantra vidya and perhaps being in kashi.
Ask them ?
Every single organization like this is a cult from the inside. Stay on the periphery and you get all the benefits. Be cautious of giving up your life and joining full time, There is too much info in the internet to not do your research, Just type “name of org” cult and you will see.
i can’t tell if you’re being serious but basically you’re asking how to become a monk. so you’d go to the temple, gain some cred with the priests there and talk to people / try to develop a following.
I’m a woman so I won’t qualify to be a sanyaasi. I just mean full time volunteer.

They operate as non profit in the US. So all of their funding comes from donations, charities and sometimes corporations (who may fund a foundation linked to a temple) etc. That’s how people living in the temple are sustained
You may want to talk to someone and understand their lifestyle and how they become a temple inhabitant. There is a process. There is difference between volunteering and living in the temple. It’s not a job that you drive to.
