Might be a long shot but anyone ever fly to the Philippines/Korea/Japan from JFK? When I got my job offer back in 2019 and moved to the city 2020, was looking at flights to SEA in 2019, and they were at $500-700 now all I’m seeing is $1000++ flights. Anyone found a good deal?

Got stuck on the plane for an extra hour because pilot got stuck in a pot hole … had to take another BUS to get to the other side of the JFK terminal. What a shit show

We flew back from Ireland today on Delta. Our connecting flight from JFK at 6:10 was cancelled while we were flying over the Atlantic Ocean, and we were rebooked on a 3:40 instead (2.5 hours earlier) but not notified. I received no email, text or app notification of the flight cancellation or the new flight we were placed on, so we missed it. They now cannot get us home tonight and won’t even guarantee they can get us home tomorrow, impacting my work, (cont)…

Have an expense question: Due to unforseen delays and shithousery from AA, my flight was delayed by 4 hours and then diverted to JFK instead of LGA on my way back from DU. Can I just expense uber/lyft how much ever it costs? Its 2 am already

l was flying home for the weekend to see my mom for her birthday, but Delta airlines was an absolute cluster F*** today, my flight was cancelled after many delays, they couldn't rebook me, blowing up my long weekend with her, and I have to wait 4 hours at JFK for my bag to be brought to baggage claim. Recently had a trip planned with a short layover at JFK. Delta postponed the first leg by 45 minutes which made it impossible to get from Terminal 2 to Terminal 4 in time to catch the second flight. Ended up taking a train from Boston to NYC the night before so I could make the second flight. Do I have a valid argument to claim the extra costs I incurred from Delta?

Flying out of JFK terminal 2 (DL int'l). We are parking at JFK, i can park in either the long term lot (cheapest), a lot near terminal 8 (mid tier), or near terminal 4 (most expensive). Anyone know how long it'll take to get from each spot to terminal 2? We will hopefully be getting to JFK ~2hrs before the flight (based on normal traffic estimates), but traffic could push it closer to 1hr if things go wrong
