Hi all, I am trying to DCA bi-weekly into Vanguard ETFs, (VO, VTI etc). It seems like Fidelity does not support auto buying of non-Fidelity ETFs. So I was wondering which of these options you think is best?

1. Open a Vanguard Invest account
2. Look for Fidelity ETFs that are similar to Vanguard ETFs
3. Use smaller brokerages like SoFi l, Robinhood etc.

I really do not want to manage nor be active. My goal is to log-in like once every 6 months.

Advice needed on handing in notice, I recently signed an offer letter and understand the screening process takes 4-6 weeks. I have a month's notice period and have agreed a preliminary start date in Feb.

I was planning on not handing my notice in until the checks had been completed so its all secured (not that I think I will fail any checks), but apparently I need a reference from my current employer not previous ones. Can't really do this without handing in notice can I?

Saw someone asking about high-rise apartments in Mott Haven earlier. Just moved into a new apartment building here and honestly it’s not as bad as I thought. New buildings are safe and pretty spacious (relatively speaking). Downside is not really much to do around this area and food delivery is not great. Overrated:

Nightlife. This isn’t some European capital raging till 6am on weekends. It’s dead after 2am and because rent is so high your bars are extremely small, crowded and mediocre

Dating/Friendships. While this is a city you can have lots of hookups, the average quality of the person is baddd and there is little romance for serious dating. easy to end up 30 without a single meaningful relationship
