Hi all,
I’m looking to relocate to Seattle. Does anyone know if any of the Big 4 are still recruiting campus hires to start in Summer/Fall 2023? I’m open to either Audit or Tax, but I have internship experience in Tax.
I applied and received an offer at a Big 4 in San Francisco (campus hire), but I’ve decided Seattle is the better fit for me as it will be closer to my hometown and family in Vancouver.
Thanks!

You’ll likely won’t be able. To buy alcohol in an airport you need to show a boarding pass to an international destination (can’t be domestic). I’m pretty sure JFK will ask for your PPT boarding pass to be from JFK, and won’t accept that it’s from LAX
All this within the boarding area of course
I flew from JFK > Dubai > Hyderabad > Rajahmundry (India) and we bought only 1 bottle and put it in our carry on with no issues..
You could try… they will ask you your flight information. But last time I got duty free liquor they delivered it plane side so I’m not sure if that would work with a connecting flight.
Thinking it’s worth the try!
How much is it actually going to save…?

Sure, BAH1. That’s definitely another option. The point for me was just that bringing booze definitely helps, regardless of how you get it there.
It will be delivered planeside in the US because international areas are not sterile from a customs standpoint. You can, however, bring back duty-free from PPT even in your carry-on for your domestic leg if it's in a STEB with receipt.
Someone from duty free comes to the gate and distributes the duty free purchases before you board your flight from JFK. To the original point, not sure if you would be able to purchase in JFK since your departing flight is domestic.
