What are the Big 4? Discussions

Hi All, i am CA currently working with Deloitte USI i got an offer from Zscaler for SEC reporting team for senior analyst post for chandigarh at 17LPA fixed no bonus no stocks. My Promotion is due in deloitte in June 23 after promotion fixed plus bonus will surpass current offer of Zscaler. I doubt if i make a switch to industry it will be difficult for me to Join big 4 again
what should i do should i switch or stay at deloitte? please suggest

What are thoughts from moving from Australia to London for big 4 in current economic climate? Potentially sacrificing family and WLB for a stint at big 4, currently still in same in Oz but good street cred so work is easiest it’s ever been. SM in M&A

How's restructuring group at B4? I know we have TRS at Parthenon. Is it solid or much smaller than firms like A&M?

Currently in B4 FDD a manager with 6 YOE, is switching to IB worth it? Pros and Cons other than the salary? I know the market is down right now but wanted to weigh if I would just invest my time and relationship with my current network or should I continue to set a side time to prep for IB job applications and interviews.

Anybody know why you would be marked as “ineligible for rehire” at a Big 4? Trying to apply back to PwC but rejected because I’m “ineligible for rehire”. Left on good terms, had good reviews, and had a good relationship with my counselor.

Spent 2 years in B4 audit, then 2 years in FDD at a different B4. I’m considering a move to a boutique IB with ultimate goal being either Corp Dev or potentially other buyside opportunities. Will I close doors to Corp Dev at large (F500) institutions by moving to a boutique nobody has really heard of?

Do some MBB engagements are actually working with clients side-by-side ("holding hand") to help them achieve their operational goals kind of implementation? Or is it more advisory, strategy and providing recommendations?

Finally the day has come, leaving my job at Tata Consulting (TCS) for better opportunities. Been there for 8 months and possibly worst 8 months of my career. Joined them from a Big 4 , decision which I still regret (yes the posts warning about WITCH companies are very true).
And not just me many others regret and looking for exit (which comes hard with Tata on CV). So if you get approached by TCS or someone from their CS&I or CST teams etc you have been warned.

Was a B4 senior associate in FDD for about a year and went into IB as an analyst at a large MM. I’m honestly considering jumping back to FDD at A&M or something, mainly because it’s just way less BS and more standardized work plus more WFH. I know people typically want to do the opposite, am I nuts? FDD was chill compared to banking when I was working there. Bonuses in banking are bound to be ass this year as well
