Interested in frontend dev and have been learning on my own. Manager says chase doesnt have much React opportunities. Is it possible to make a switch when I barely have experience? Are there companies that will hire by seeing that I am willing to learn and am interested in frontend even tho I don’t have much experience with it yet?

🐠- My parents have been trying to get B-1 visa appointment for few months to visit me to extend support during/after child birth. They originally were able to schedul for Oct but it was recently canceled by the counslate. The current earliest date is in March. Any suggestions on options to expedite appointment scheduling?

What do you think about 100 e-mails, 25 conversations on the phone (not calls, conversation), 30 connection on LinkedIn, 30 messages on LinkedIn? What are usually kpi in companies like salesforce for example?

Currently a Wealth Advisor for Citi but I honestly hate it here with a passion it’s the worst company I’ve ever worked for in my life and I’ve been in Wealth Management in the banking channel for over a decade. Hi guys, I got an offer from x and i discussed that with my current. At 1st current said they can only give 30% increment. I said I can't stay with this cause i got 70% and expect at least 50%(as the 70% included VP and the current org don't have vp, they have bonus). Then they said they can do max 45%. I really wanted to stay here so I said okay to current. Then now hr called me and said they are matching the offer(no vp). What should I make out of it? What made them change their mind?

Really struggling with a few students in my kindergarten class this year and looking for suggestions. I've been teaching K for 10 of the 16 years I've been a teacher, and have never felt as disrespected by students as I do this year. Several students continually talk, yell, and laugh over me, or make noises when I am talking. They are sent away from the group to reset and make a better choice, but usually continue when they return. Parent contact has been supportive, but hasn't helped.
