Are any companies hiring for internal consulting roles or corporate strategy for entry level?

What firms are still hiring right now? I see a lot of listings but seems like just about everything I apply to isn’t actively hiring.

Need some advice. First time in a consulting role. I was assigned a lead to a project with a tight timeline (even client agrees timeline is aggressive). I'm the only person on project to do requirements, analysis, and delivery. I need to tell my partner asap that I need to extend the timeline. How do I go about it without seeming incompetent? I'm less than a month into this company so I'm still trying to prove myself.

Should I join a T2 consulting firm or a health tech startup doing analytics?

I'm currently at a healthcare boutique and I'm debating between these 2 options. I'm trying to optimize for exit ops and business school placement.

They have similar comp but at the T2 I'll mainly be doing CDDs whereas at the startup I'll gain more technical skills since I'll be doing analytics. The T2 is more of a "brand" but I feel like I'll gain more hard skills from the startup.

I was on PIP and got fired last week. On Friday I get an email from HR saying - as notified my last day was Friday and I have been terminated from my role due to “poor performance”. Just curious if HR should say it like that instead of something like unsatisfactory performance?

Hi everyone! I received an verbal offer but having some second thoughts on taking the position. The recruiter should be calling me back on Monday for my interest and final offer. In this case, Should i wait for them to send me the final written offer with salary or just tell them no from the start? Thank you!

I work in my current firm for 6 months only and I’m already burnt out.
I came to the firm as an experienced consultant but couldn’t get the higher position because it was abroad and I didn’t speak local language yet. However, they told me I’d be eligible for the fast track if I show that my experience is relevant. For 6 months I’ve never been staffed on a project in the industry I’ve worked before, so I’m neither interested by what I do, nor do I have an opportunity to show my experience ->

wanted some advice as I have offers from both S&/EYP in London (where I am based) and two MBB officers in Dubai. I'm not too certain on what to choose. 
Obviously Id go with MBB for the prestige and career boosting potential it carries (+more likely sponsored MBA) but my friends + partner are all in London (WLB also better)
would like some more context about the exit opportunities and how my career potential would change if I decide not to go to MBB. Are transfers within MBB easy? Wb tier2->MB

Three members of our newly created specialist unit just quit yesterday. One consultant, our team lead and a senior specialist. The reasons for the latter two seems political.

I am currently working as a financial advisor for a wealth management firm. I feel like I would rather be in less of a commission role and am not sure I love this niche in the business field. If I were to go to corporate business/finance, I was thinking about starting as a business analyst. Is anyone familiar with career paths of business analysts or any way to get involved with international business finance maybe? Any more highly paid niches moreso than others that I could prepare myself for?

I work at a firm in London as an assistant manager in the change management space. I was being paid lower than market and after spending some time getting some major accomplishments under my belt I negotiated with our practice head.

Promotion to manager confirmed and a rough 31% increment over my current salary

So I’m at a smaller boutique firm where we are super informal with most of the way we do things. I was speaking with my boss yesterday about my next steps and he threw in the convo “I think a great next step for you is moving into a senior consultant role” but we didn’t go too deep into details bc we have EOY meetings coming up. I’m an analyst rn 3 YOE. What’s that jump going to be like? What type of compensation do you think I could be looking forward to? Excited and ready for it but curious.

I was brought in as tech lead and then asked to do only pmo work. It's important I know but it's not what we agreed on for my role during the interview

D is upset that I'm pointing this out, says this is leveling up and to leave if not ready.. D it's taking it too personally. Says it's all hands on deck

Little serious questions. I am finishing my PhD (Chemistry)., expected graduation date is Aug23. But, with hiring freeze and economic slowdown, should I push it by a semester to Dec23? I feel, I will be more prepared for applying in Feb23 for full time positions.

Backfilling an existing PM for my first PM role. Any tips/questions I should ask during turnover/advice you wish you knew during your first PM engagement?

How should I know when to leave my current job? There are some things that I can tolerate and keep working. But I also don’t see a long term goal in my current position. It’s for many reasons. Therefore how do you all make this decision? What motivates you to move? Or what do you do to come to this decision?

I’m on approximately my 5th rejection from PwC.
The last two were for an entry-level position for which I’m well qualified.
