Thinking about taking a job at sunrise technologies working as a senior d365 consultant. Base is the same but the bonus is insane. I'm currently at a bigger firm so going to a smaller firm will be a change. Any reason I shouldn't take this??

I started working as a consultant with EY 8 months ago. Even though I'm content and learning a lot there, I think there are places where I might easily earn more money. I received a job offer last week from Alvarez & Marsal to work as a consultant at the Transaction Advisory Department, where I will be paid more fairly (salary & bonus). Should I accept it? Or would leaving EY that early not be wise?

If you renege on your return offer, do they actually ask you for the signing bonus back? I’d imagine it costs more to legally get the money back from you then to just give it up?

Is there such thing as a "compensation index" for publicly traded companies?
