Next month, I'm wrapping up at my current company and looking at Remote jobs mostly. Anyone else finding that a lot of jobs have gone to hybrid or onsite?

Any tips to ace remote job interviews? I suspect it'll be more fierce competition now.

I recently left my stable, fully remote job with a good culture because I didn't like their product or strategy. I took the new role with a stipulation of 5% max travel due to personal health issues which I was very transparent about. In my first week they reneged and booked me for 50% travel. I told the director this was unacceptable and she said I'm clearly not the right fit for the role if I can't travel. How would you explain this during interviews with new prospective employers?

Accepted an offer for a fully remote job and now I’m stressing. When I worked from home during the height of the pandemic there were days where I’d procrastinate the whole day. How do others make sure they are productive everyday? What has worked for you and what should I avoid. Accepting all tips & ideas!

Has anyone here ever worked two full time remote roles at the same time? I’ve heard of some people doing this. With remote jobs being way more common these last couple of years, I’m curious to learn about the experiences of people who’ve done this. What was your experience like? What industries were the roles in? Did you inform both bosses? Was it very stressful? Under what circumstances would you recommend someone should / should not try it? Would you put both roles on your resume? Thanks!

Just quit on the spot at my WFH job. Final straw them questioning my experience, nitpicking every task that I did as not well done and inaccurate, like I’m not going to sit there and let you dog on me for an hour about how horrible everything I’ve done is. When they run a sinking ship, talk shit constantly about ALL of their clients, have no onboarding process, no policies, unprofessional, lack communication, lack of direction. Like you’ve given me nothing, and talk shit about me. 🤬

I’m currently working at a NYC Hedge Fund ~ I go into the office 3x week commuting from Staten Island NY. I just bought a property in NJ! I’m considering looking for a new job in NJ to lighten the commute or look for a fully remote job as I am a single mom w/ a 6 yo daughter to care. Are there any EAs on here that work in the Finance Industry in NJ?! Also how much do you make? I’m afraid it’s lower compared to NYC Salary. TY!

Does it make sense to move to California? Currently in a MCOL city (east coast) with a remote job. Interested in Sonoma/Napa area due to scenery and weather. Cons are cost - mortgage would probably jump from 3k to 6k at least. Also a bit worried about CA politics. Seems like ppl have good intentions but lead to bad results (eg homeless in SF or lack of housing).
