I given a interview in a product firm, after that I got to know that they are using time tracking and monitoring tool to track employee productivity since it's remote job.

Is it good to join that company incase i am getting a offer there?

I am afraid of micro management.

With the rise in hybrid and "no remote" job postings, "for the sake of culture." I want to ask those (especially creatives) working on-site. How is it? Is everyone still working in an open-plan office, robots wearing headphones, emailing and DMing like pre-pandemic days? Or is it worth it? People gathering at tables or in meeting rooms, connecting about ideas, brainstorming with space for long pauses, because the meeting isn't a video call. Seriously asking if on-site now, is better than remote?

Any recruiters or others here know of some remote jobs in finance or banking? I have 10+ years experience in both banking and leadership. Thanks for your help!

Those of you who moved on from being a teacher and into the Ed Tech world, where did you find your jobs? I’ve taught science for 11 years and worked as camp director / program manager this summer. I’ve easily applied for over 50 remote jobs but never hear back from the various companies. Has the hype around teachers transitioning to Ed Tech been overblown? THX

I didn't think this was possible but I'm in a temporary FT gig that will have one meeting a week and a pretty low workload.

Considering taking a second WFH job due to economic constraints. Same field but different aspect (one is permanent employees and the other is contract only). One would recruit for multiple businesses (contract), and the other just one. I don’t feel like their conflict, but worried if boss ever found out I kept both they may not feel the same way. Truly interested in just making ends meet and not in getting rich. Am I wrong to risk it? No non competes have been asked for from either party.

Say the salary is 26 LPA in INR, will wiring the salary from UK cost me more than what I would have to pay if it was an Indian Company ?
