WFH for both companies.

Which is better to join?

Hi, I work as a Embedded Software Engineer 4. I have 14 years of experience. I work in Central Jersey (Not NYC).

What is a fair compensation in NJ? My base is currently 134k plus around 20k in bonus plus 7% 401k match. TC around ~160k.
Work life balance is good, WFH 2 days.

Few years ago, I moved from NYC and my base was higher. but in NJ, I had to take a pay cut bec I started family.

I see everywhere 250-350K compensations in NYC, but wondering if NJ is comparable and do I make too low?

I am a Product Owner with 6 yoe and a mother of newly born. My current package is 12lpa and average 11-12 hrs working with work from office for 7-8 hrs, remaining calls/work from home. In such scenario taking care of the baby has become very challenging.
I have been considering job switch for a while but have lots of doubt in my mind. Will a new mother be hired? Working 12 hrs will only ensure good package? If i insist on work life balance, will it affect the package? Thoughts plz

I am utterly burnt out at my job. There is no work/life balance (ie I was out with Covid for a week several months ago and got calls/“urgent” requests every single day), no wfh flexibility, lack of growth opps, and lack of support from senior leadership. I’ve been looking for new jobs since the beginning of this year. I so badly want to quit but am the primary source of income for my family and also currently supporting my younger sibling/mom. The stress is overwhelming.

Need suggestions, is there any organization in Delhi NCR which offers good work life balance?
I am a mother of a toddler and it gets really difficult to manage the work and baby especially due to odd hour calls and long working hours. Also weekend work and excessive calls makes it impossible to strike a balance.
