Hi Folks, Need help in shortlisting below mentioned companies with respect to work life balance and annual growth.
YOE: 8+
Stack: Java+ Microservice+cloud

1) IBM
2) Amdocs
3) Tech Mahindra
4) @Newgen Healthcare
5) Fidelity National Information Services, Inc.

All companies are providing wfh currently, newgen is providing permanent wfh. Tech Mahindra have high chances of onsite opportunity (Indonesia).

Working in Bosch having 12 years of SAP technical experience. Current CTC is 21.5 lakhs. Having good WLB and work pressure is not that high.

Got offer in IBM band 8 for 31 lakhs all fixed. Mainly switching for pay due to personal commitments. Both location is Coimbatore only.

Whether I shall proceed forward to join IBM ? As I m looking to stay for very long term. Pls let me know your thoughts and it's work life balance in IBM. ? They are giving permanent work from home as well.

Looking to transition to a work from home position since I’m expecting my first child later this year. Hi all, I have offer from CTS and Publicis Sapient.
Publicis Sapient offers me 13LPA + Permanent WFH
CTS offers me 11LPA + 75k JB

Does CTS can revise my offer? As I have heared that CTS has better projects and Work life balance in comparison to PS.

I have two offers :-
1. Publicis Sapient - 13 LPA CTC (AL2)
2. Luxoft - 13 LPA CTC (Software Engineer)

Both are Permanent WFH offers for the profile of a Core Java developer.

I am confused about which company will be better for growing my career?

Recently I have heard bad things about Publicis, that they have a long bench time and bad work life balance.

Making 150k (no structured bonus and 5% origination fee) at my small shop. Decent/ok work-life balance but doing a lot of the aspect of my job I don’t love. People are ok a little bit of a weird vibe in the office. WFH once a week with an hour commute. New offer is from a much larger firm for 220K plus bonus structure and with 15% origination. Flexible WFH options and 1800 billable hours. Hard to get a sense of work-life but seems to have a good reputation via Glassdoor. [continued in comments]

CTS - 14.6 Fixed ( WFH till Dec )
IBM - 14.5 Fixed ( Got hometown ) + 50K JB
Wipro - 16.5 LPA ( Hyderabad )
KPMG - 16 Fixed ( Bangalore )

Which one is good to choose. Respect to work life balance and work culture rather environment and Job security.

I am a Frontend Developer with 1 year of experience with current CTC - 8LPA + ESOPs at an early-stage startup. It is WFH and the first product will be launched in 1 or 2 months. Good work-life balance and got chance to build complex products from scratch, although no senior dev in the fronted team to learn from.

I have received an offer from a well-established startup headquartered in the US/China with CTC - 12LPA + No ESOPSs.

Should I really switch to the new company, why or why not?

is mbb outdated as the premier non-technical entry level move?

i know majority of this site is submerged in the *consulting world* and will thus join the convo with certain biases, but pls try to assess objectively.

with cultural shifts now further prioritizing self-care (e.g. more work/life balance; wfh flexibility; etc.) and there being top tier mbb alts that provide more in these areas (e.g. tech), would you still pursue mbb fresh out of undergrad now if given choice to go to tech?

Infocepts- 16 LPA all fixed (2 days wfo 3 days wfh)
Cognizant - 18 LPA ( 17.5 fixed 50k variable) wfh only
HCL - 22 LPA 20 fixed and 2 lkh variable (2 days wfo 3 days wfh)
Maveric Systems - 24 LPA all fixed ( all 5 days wfo)

I am working mother of 2 year old baby.
Kindly help me to choose wisely.

It will be very helpful if you can suggest with some reason.
