I need advice : My Manager wants to Propose to me a new work schedule for shifts where I only work in a fixed day shift , because I argued that Night Shifts gives me health complications as I don’t get enough sleep almost none at all during those weeks with Night shifts. Which offer should I accept? Currently staff 2 at big 4 in Tax with CPA license. I want to leave tax ASAP. Both are public companies +1B in revenue and same salary. Offer 1 - staff revenue accountant so reading contracts, speaking with the sales team and legal team, a lot of work at the end of the months to close books and reconcile transactions to make sure we are ASC 606 compliant. This track usually leads to director of revenue. Offer 2 - internal audit staff so SOX and compliance projects.

How do I measure what I'm "worth" in the market? I know YOE play a role, but I don't know how to measure based on perf or whatnot. What makes one person worth more than another for the same role?

My position puts me in a place where I need to interact with my new coworkers but they are not as welcoming as I expected. There is also another surgical coordinator however I have come to find from other staff that there is a long history of her running other staff away and not fully training other surgical coordinator staff properly. I have joined IBM and resigned within 50 days.
Reason: project I was allocated not good and I initially rejected project but they forcefully moved to the project.I have asked multiple times to replace the project after that I have resigned.
Now manager is threatening me that I will be placed under no hire to IBM.

Good morning everyone. I’ve been working as personal injury paralegal for about 1 year. Our firm has an incentive where you get a portion of the fee’s for any-case you bring in. It is definitely something I’m interested in doing and I’m wondering what are someways that we can bring in businesses without breaking any ethical rules.

I'm trying to find an in-house paralegal role, and I'm wondering if it's considered acceptable to say the reason I'm looking to move is to get away from billable hours. I think most people don't like billable requirements, but I'm wondering if this makes me sound lazy or unproductive. Thoughts?
