I am curious - I have an opposing counsel that sends provocative or incorrect emails related to our case late night (eg 11:00 pm Sunday Night, 1:00 am) and does not consider the timing (nor the content) of his emails to be inappropriate - what do you think about lawyers that send late night emails- are they indicative of incivility? Unprofessional? - how best should this behavior be handled.
Any advice on exploring career options within law? Current corporate biglaw, I enjoy my firm but hate the 24/7 fire drills that come with firm life. I don’t know if in-house would get boring over time. No idea what to work towards anymore.

Long-term Big Law attorneys who haven't succumbed to burnout: how do you cope with working virtually everyday? I already eat healthy and exercise. I just want to know what I can do to ensure that I am able to maintain my velocity. My days have blurred together at this point from working everyday. My billables are great (+/- 200 hours/month). I'm getting good reviews. I just don't want to end up burning out in a year or two. Thank you!

I need advice: currently owe ~30k in student loans, have about 20k in savings, and 8k in company stocks. I’m also planning on buying a house with the low interest rates, and since I’m a veteran I get benefits on mortgages (aka no need to put 20% down to avoid PMI). I’m staying with family but I’m desperate to leave and it just doesn’t make sense to pay rent if I’m already pre-approved ct’d
