Is having a part-time weekend and weeknight gig frowned upon?

Hi guys! I work as a software engineer and the work is very easy, I’m somewhat bored. I have family in FAANG, and I’m looking to get into it for the $$ and hopefully to work on new technologies.
Any advice on where the interesting work is being done in the tech field in Atlanta to take my next career step?

What does a 30% travel requirement mean in a job description? How often do they expect the candidate to travel ?

Asking for a friend. Is a 10k raise (75k ->85k) for a promotion to a midlevel creative position in NYC low or typical??? I feel like the raise itself which is only 13% (and inflation eats 5-8% of that) seems low and I want to encourage them to ask for more.

Only worried about that if I continue here, in process of learning ruby I might have unlearn java. For those who work in Agencies, how do you accurately identify the work capacity of your Account Management team? I’m currently comparing against account billable/number of accounts, however, there are still discrepancies. I layer on time tracking, but smaller billable accounts will sometimes be just as demanding as larger billable accounts which create profitability issues.
