Anyone ever heard of Pappas group? They slid into my dms on LinkedIn. Looking for insights. The website didn’t show work but the clients seemed interesting.
Does anyone fail at work? Like, something slips your mind or your AD asks too much of you, but there's no one lower in your team who can actually deal with the task at hand?

EOD deadline. I can't find a single quiet place in the office to concentrate. I just want silence. Please, for the love of god. I hate open seating so much.

Going to Tokyo for a few days, Osaka as a base for a few more. I plan to check out Kyoto and Nara. Any recommendations? Paying homage to the late great Anthony Bourdain by attending the robot cabaret
any Morgan Stanley 🐠 here? Got reach out by the recruiter for their Risk & Data Strategy Associate - Process Improvement role (I know it is a long title) at NYC. What range of salary should I ask for with 3.5 YOE? And any insight about the WLB and actual work they do?

I am a experienced manager in transaction advisory services (financial due diligence), thing about going to industry but I am also wondering if staying in the firm till senior manager or director will get a better exit opportunity. Any advice? I have no interests in accounting type jobs and my current interests are in strategic finance. I am really curious what exactly should be the best grade to jump.
What are your biggest consulting gripes? Mine: I work with lots of highly educated people that like to over-complicate things. To me, it would be more intelligent to explain things coherently and as simply as possible (esp. when talking to colleagues)
I'm tired of meeting people and getting disappointed. Just tell me where that special one is and I will hunt him down!!
