Has anyone’s firm discussed the possibility of cutting salaries (attorney and/or staff) as a result of this COVID-19 craziness? Keeping this post intentionally vague.

Anyone know of any part time work from home opportunities? I have experience in the past as an SDR for an insurance firm.
Is there anything wrong with searching through the dockets for a template for a type of motion you’ve never written before? Obviously the facts and argument will be different, but the legal standard section could very well be nearly-identical. I’d switch words and cases around as well—just trying to get a sense if this is frowned upon in any way
Anyone else work in ID/litigation with high billable targets, plus a working spouse and young children? Any time management tips and examples? Been doing this over a year now and feeling like it may not be sustainable if I actually want to spend time with my family and not choose between that or sleep. Seems like burnout is setting in.
On a scale of 1-10 (10 is extremely concerned) how concerned are you about COVID-19 and related issues and consequences? And of all the implications of the illness which one concerns you most?
Currently have about close to 3 years of end to end HR business partnering experience under my belt. Any tips on what's needed for me to better position myself for a consultancy role in the future? Any thoughts and inputs really appreciated!
If you have an email that contains some hearsay statements but also some non hearsay statements, how does that get admitted into evidence?
Getting frustrated that I can't even land a job interview. I'm a recruiter with 5 years of experience in agency looking for a remote opportunity in Europe... I'm kinda tired of doing only recruitment... I want to find an alternative where I can keep doing recruitment but also assume other responsibilities in HR :(
Leaving small law as a near-4th year lit associate who’s also outside GC to several companies and going to a much larger firm in a larger city to do transactional M&A. Where can I find good resources to learn my job? What advice do you ha? What kind of autonomy will I have (for reference, I do files by myself with no oversight. If I disappeared from my small law office for 2 days, nobody would question it because I’m always out doing something like helping site plan for corporate client out.
I’d like to get HRCI recertification credits that add the biggest impact to my professional development. I’m currently a SPHR and HR Business Partner. What is the best training provider or certification to go for?
How long do you think you need to have worked in biglaw to have proven you can really do it? (“It” being the insane pace and maybe distantly have the hard and soft skills to be a biglaw attorney)?
Anyone willing to share some best resources (books, podcasts, etc) for imposture syndrome? For awareness, I am a white women in HR. Always struggled with confidence but experienced some brutal/toxic management with my HR role with a bad business partner (now in a new role), and I am continuing to struggle with my confidence. Appreciate resources that are “self-help”. Also considering a therapist but hoping to also own the process myself for quicker “recovery”. TIA!
Has anyone purchased of the HRCIs untimed or timed exams for the PHR or SPHR? Did you find the practice exam helpful and the questions similar to what you saw on the test?

I hear people say "that's too small for me to do" or "I don't want to start there" not realizing that the some of the largest things have started small. You can start RIGHT NOW with what you have. This is the last month in the year, NO MORE EXCUSES.
I want to know what have you started lately? 👇🏾
Looking to transition...

Trying to make a switch in my career to heavily software focused. I’ve been learning C++ using some online courses and I’m learning but I feel like it’s not practical when I want to apply to a job. Any good recommendations on how I can learn how to write/debug to get into a software entry level job
Is it possible to get a sales position like an account executive role at Google without a degree? I have 15 years of sales experience but it seems like it would be impossible to get my foot in the door without one. Any guidance would be great guys.
Any advice for how to handle requests for an assignment and assumption agreement with 3rd parties after a merger transaction has already closed? Seller merged with and into buyer (so legally no longer exists to assign over the K to buyer). But certain contracting parties are requesting assignments and consents after the fact. Contracts were part of merger and didn’t require consent for merger (assuming merger doesn’t fall within anti- assignment provision under applicable governing law).
Hi Everyone- I’m an SDR for a performance Television platform that specializes in hyper target streaming TV ads that can be directly tracked and optimized towards ROAS/CPA/etc. The recent months have been tough - and I’m 95% certain I’m going to be put on a PIP this afternoon. That said-@If any of you are a part of a D2C brand and looking to expand your performance marketing channels - I promise you CTV is where it’s at!!!

Currently, I have an offer for compliance examiner for futures and a tax position at a midsize public accounting firm. What route would you suggest I take? People who pay rent to their parents for tax-saving, I have a few questions,
1. If I transfer money to them, and they transfer it back to me, will it be taxable?

3. Is cash the only option they can give it back to me in case they don't want to use the rent money I paid? What are other possible ways?
