Go for a perm position for a large manufacturing company recruiting assemblers and Machinsts in aerospace. 70k

Or

Temporary contract with the government recruiting for various low skilled work with higher than average wages. Min 82k with possibility of extension

Recently obtained my aPHR and I’m considering next steps in advancing my career. I am eligible to sit for the SHRM-CP presently and will not be able to sit for a PHR until 09/2023. Any pros/cons with either certification? Should I wait to sit for PHR or go for SHRM-CP now?

When your old 100+ person agency has a BLM message on their website but only employed one black person while you worked there.

I have a friend who just started a new job-went from a big ad agency to a small start up. The boss at the new job wants to create the company website to show generic work. No actual clients, just work with made up company names. They have many clients that they work with-but won’t show them online. I have never heard of this? Why would someone do that? Isn’t it counterproductive to show fake companies and work? How can they discourage their boss that’s not a good idea without offending them?

Anyone here do HR for an organization with both union and non union employees? My organization is very small consisting of 8 union employees and 7 non union employees. Being Desi my mom has always had opinion on what I wear and how I dress up . We are planning for baby shower and she mentioned that she has few Sarees that she shopped and would send it over. I told her that I want to choose what I like though she agreed with it I feel guilty that I am making a decision . I have been looking at the curriculums for Harvard Business School's Master of Business Administration and Harvard Extension School's Master's in Management. They both have the same requirements, generally speaking, including a field immersion course that serves as a capstone in the Master's in Management, which is fairly new. If I am not able to gain admission to Harvard Business School, but wanted a similar educational experience to become a consultant, should I attend Harvard Extension?

Trying to get out of consulting. Ux is so watered down and I’m terrified that it’s going to stunt my growth. I’m overall just not happy. Sure, consulting pats decently but I love the field of UX and just get stuck making wireframes that the customer requests. The field is so competitive right now and I can’t seem to land another job. My HR was completed on Oct 6th. It's been one month and still didn't receive an offer letter from Bosch Bangalore. They are feeling it's pending for approval. Any comments ? Did anyone receive offer letter after 1 month ?

I get the feeling that MBA degrees get compensated fairly well...more so than tangible real life experience. What is it about MBAs that is so valuable to the employer?

Is there any possible way to salvage a job opportunity after realizing the range you quoted is way below average compensation? 🤔
