Does anyone have a dashboard or excel template for turnover/attrition where data can be easily “dumped” in for a beautiful display? TIA!
Hi all! We’re doing quite a bit of hiring on our HR team at LEK Consulting - in particular Manager positions in LA and Boston and a specialist role in NYC. If anyone is interested, or knows someone that could be a good fit, feel free to dm me!
Looking for feedback on Paylocity and UKG payroll HRIS. We have 250 employees and rapidly growing company.
Trying to cut back on bad habits and build good ones (daily workout routine) but only seems to be adding to the stress - at least in the short-term
Anyone here a member of Revenue Collective? Is it worth it? What kind of value have you gotten out of it if so? Thanks!
Most indulgent gift you've bought yourself?
I was laid off from a resource management role, working with employees approaching or on the bench, working with managers to staff projects, and support functions like report creation, scheduling, etc. Roles like this are few and many large consulting firms have frozen internal hiring. Do you think it would be beneficial to get a SHRM cert? Would that help get a "talent related" HR role? Worth the money? I have a background in recruitment as well.
Got some dress shirts for Xmas that are not standard white or blue. Not a fan of diversity in my shirt color. Does anyone rock dress shirtst that aren't white or blue regularly?

What are some best practices for handling an employee with dare I say, too much initiative? They tend to steamroll others and processes because they are so fast at their job and rather than taking a breather when done, start digging around for new projects outside of their scope. We value them but want to ensure others are given opportunity to thrive too.
Hands up if you like and would date a girl older than you. 🙌 Who here is currently dating an older girl and how is it going so far?
What's more important? The number of deals worked or variety of deals in building your experience?
How do you guys go about networking after you’ve already graduated? Working in treasury/middle office at an MM bank. Trying to network with alumni at other firms, but have an exact 0% response rate. My networking emails are fine too - I had a 50%+ response rate while I was still in college.

I feel like one of the students with my attention off the lesson (in my case, it is all the grading and feedback I need to complete!) and my attention being pulled to this app and many others🤣 I'm even writing this while I know I shouldn't be...then I'll check for comments...😅
Hi PwCers: have an intro call coming up for a deals strategy role within pwc. Have more of a financial diligence background but have worked on a few large transactions where I worked closely with CDD. Any tips on how to best position myself in the intro calls? Also what is the difference between Deals Strategy between pwc vs S&? The descriptions seem fairly equal to me. Any input you can share on potential comp for HCOL at the SC level would be helpful as well. Thank you!
For those who work in black box comp big law - how do your firms adjust when the market raises the typical scale? Do you get a bigger raise at reviews or do they do an adjustment eventually?
Any rumors of PWC joining the parental leave arms race? EY and Deloitte upped theirs to 16 weeks paid leave, while Don Draper PwC kicks new parents in the nuts and tells them to get back on the road

I just graduated with an MBA degree and my concentration is in healthcare leadership and management. Am GPA is 3.5. My undergrad was in Dental surgery (BDS) and I completed my degree from India. I haven’t been able to land a job or even a call back and my rejection pile is really high. How do I refine by job search ? What department or job title could potentially hire career transitioned? Or what can I do to improve my profile? Any suggestions will be appreciated
For those recently laid off, what are you doing for healthcare coverage now? Just got my COBRA offer/extension letter and was floored to see the cost. So far I’ve only looked at covered California at the suggestion of a friend but at a glance the plans don’t seem substantially better - the monthly savings in premium on those plans is essentially offset by the increased deductible. Do I just suck it up and keep what I had through COBRA and pray I get a job soon? Any suggestions on ways to save?
5 Yoe in QA(not too passionate about it), confused about pursuing 1 yr of full time MBA(from one of the top colleges in India) for which I would have to leave my current job. The other options are to continue in Tech or do a Part time MBA(2 yrs, will get reimbursed) The confusion is mostly from Financial POV: opportunity cost & ROI of doing an MBA. Also, there is the risk and uncertainty of leaving a good job and starting career from scratch. Need advice on how to approach this conundrum.

For those of you who have started a new job while WFH: how has it been learning your new role without the benefit of being in person to ask the small questions/ “looking over a shoulder” to see how business is typically conducted? I’m not too concerned about the company culture part of it as everyone is in the same boat, but I’m concerned I will be at a disadvantage starting remote as opposed to my peers that were there a year ago.
How are the in-house attorneys fairing right now? Any layoffs or pay reductions happening like in most firms?

Cannes Lions makes me sick. I've never won. But it is a joke. I've never seen any of this shit until now. Plus we all know all the CDs just lobby and trade votes. Why does our industry leaders pick?
Layoffs are the only way the industry will survive. A Great Depression is imminent. There is no other way this will all end.
Anyone graduated with a Masters in Business Analytics? How are earning potentials for that vs a traditional MBA?
I joined consulting straight out of college last year, been living at home and will have saved close to 70k by the end of the year (including 401k). I’m super unhappy and feeling unfulfilled. I want to do something out of the ordinary with my life, tempted to put in a LOA and take 6 months traveling Europe and write a book. Should I do it? Follow up edit: any success stories of people of have done this? And can share…
Currently on a int'l project and booking trips to make sure I get my imaginary diamond medallion. Btw, i don't need to fly back, doing just for the points, is that bad? :p
What cert to go for next? Currently have AWS-SAA and Security+. Thinking about CISSP but how difficult is it compared to the AWS-SAA?
