Do it - if it’s a role you’d actually enjoy and learn from. I did the same thing and grew so much more than if I had stayed in consulting bc I was thrown into the fire on day 1 at my new company. If you thrive by being challenged, I say go for it. Assumption here is that a company paying 100k for a junior person is a pretty legit brand, you could always come back.
A little early to leave for not much $$$. Unless it’s a great company / dream role, better to let compensation increase in consulting before exiting
Did the same. Would recommend since you can always go back and you will likely learn more in the new position
Depends on your current level and how you think your income will tier up in the next 5 yrs. If you think you would more likely be on the "out" and not the "up" then yeah take it for sure
If the industry position is your dream position in your dream industry- take it as nothing else matters
Role/company/location
What are you making now? Is it a significant increase?
I would wait
Better exit ops later on in your career
Take it
