101 question: what are the pros and cons of joining the FIG sector group? Is it really the career dead end people say?

Hi all Need some carrier guidance . I have 11+ years of experience in IIB (IBM Middleware). Now i am boared of it and I am not able to get good prospects in product based organizations . As of now I am thinking of following options 1) unskill with different cloud certification 2) change the stream and enroll in some Data science /ML courses like offered by grate lakes / upgrad type of online platforms . It’s interesting to see conversations around age gap on this thread. I am 44F and get approached by younger guys who want to date older women. Most recently by 28M and he seems mature and level headed. Knows where he is and where he is going, doesn’t want kids, etc. Although our goals align, I am not able to come to terms with the age gap but he thinks we should give it a try.
