18% base salary cut for a role at a higher tier consulting firm — this role is NOT in client service - it’s an internal position. Pros: wfh, subject matter I care about, team seems great. Cons: salary cut, told not much wiggle room in increasing base but they will ‘try’. 6YOE, 2 yr post-MBA. Should I hold out for a better exit amid this recession? Or accept this role/paycut and hopefully enjoy my life/work more in the interim? What would you do?

Hi. I am desperate to change jobs. I have two offer in hands: Deloitte Hyderbad on a contract basis with 15% hike and KPMG Bangalore FTE with 25% hike. I like Deloitte as a brand better.
None of of these two companies are willing to offer more saying that they have a tight budget.

Base salary: 60k
Quarterly quota (per quarter): 107k
Quarterly bonus (per annum): 23k
130% Annual bonus = 11.5k
"23% commission on quota minus base": 37k (don't understand this)
"Proposed 23% commission on 150% quota minus base": 86.5k
Sales commission threshold per month: 22k
OTE: 122k
Cost/Sales: 28%

That base salary is lower than my previous base by a significant amount by 32.7%
