I recently interviewed for L7 EM at Google and had 4 great interviews and one not so great system design. I submitted external referrals all of which gave great feedback. The recruiter said the next step is team match/interviews and then the HC. Anyone in a similar situation? What was the result? Google
Excitement and anxiety can co-exist.
Like when you ask someone on a date.
Or you’re buying a home.
Or when you’re on a job interview.
If you’re excited and anxious about your interview, but you only focus on the anxiety, you won’t do well in your interview.
Let the anxious thoughts go.
Focus on thoughts that excite and inspire you:
Wins from past roles.
A better title.
Higher compensation.
Positive thoughts will support you during the interview.

Hi everyone,
I have a total 9+ work ex in Devops and Release Management. Did an executive mba with a goal of breaking into Program management but got recruited into Management Consulting . In this company for the past 3 months.
I feel that my overall skills are better off in a TPM/Program Management role.
My overall experience makes me eligible for most PM roles.
My question is how do I prep for a TPM role since I don’t have development or Scrum Master exposure. Amazon India VMware BrowserStack Inc.

I have been in this boat too. Thought I tanked the interview only to find out the opposite. Interviewing is always awkward. It is never comfortable being scrutinized.
Remember, you made it this far and they liked what you have to offer. Don’t beat yourself up too much.
Always follow up. Maybe you weren't as bad as you thought, consider asking for feedback.
There’s no reason to not follow up. It always looks better, not desperate. People don’t want to hire some passive mope
Definitely follow up. And agree with most above that it may have gone better than you thought. If there is a particular question you’d expand on - do it. Say you’ve been thinking and you wish you’d also shared x. Good luck!!!!
I'd follow up, but more as a formality than anything. If the chemistry wasn't right but your work is strong, hold out for a different place where you feel the chemistry. It matters too much.
all candidates are nervous. a good answer that is slightly awkward is 1000x better than a bad answer/BS that is perfectly worded.
Follow up... and if the answer is no ask for feedback. It shows you care and he’ll, you might actually get some feedback
