Thoughts on Wpromote?
Hi Fishes, I've accepted offer from Accenture from their portal.. But now got new offer from EY and wants to join at EY. So how can I tell Accenture Accenture India that I'm not going to join them. Rather than not showing up on the date of joining? Can you please guide me? How do I let them know? My talent coach is not reachable

No work from home? No thanks
Eh. Doesn't sound that great to me. I don't wanna leave public and still have to work 50 hour weeks year round
Nope. No flexibility, no go. We're kind of spoiled you know. At least for part of the year
Titles mean nothing AS1 don't be fooled into thinking otherwise
15% is not enough. I would want at least 35%, work at home flexibility, 45 hour weeks max.
EY3 is that even possible?
Not for 15%
You're already somewhere with an intense work environment of which looks good on the cv. Only worth it if you can get the scenario as EY3 described...
You'll effectively have gotten a pay decrease come next July when you would e gotten promoted to Sr Mgr, though assume the Co would give you a raise by then so maybe not. Ultimately it boils down to what do you want to do with your career? If you're 100% confident it's not be a Partner then it could be a good move assuming the upward mobility is there. Wouldn't make the decision based on $
The $ doesn't make much difference for me right now. I'll get the same at PwC in a year.
Nope.
Get senior manager next year? What office OP? Many are not getting promoted to sr mgr after 3 or even 4 years due to mismanagement and new business case rule for promotion. If you have a locked business case and guaranteed promo wait.
PwC4 what office and Los are you in? I am in Audit in NJ and have never heard of this, and I was just promoted to SM this year.
Do what you want
I am in audit, CA. SM promotion can't be 100% guaranteed but I am on track.
If you can negotiate the pay up another 10% may be worth it. 15% seems weak though. Especially since you will still be working a ton
Isn't the title switch good enough?
How old is the controller? Do you like the company, a lot to consider
Will be reporting to VP, he is 45-50 years old
Company has good reputation and will look good on CV. It is also known for intense work environment
