Ask for at least 95k. I'm SA TC NY at A - 13 making 93k right now
A1 I was told my salary was slightly higher than those without, and heading what others made coming in I'd guess it was between 6-8k more. And my raise last year was 1% which is trash (I did get 4% when I was promoted to SA during mid years)
What is your progression point and TAL? 80k sounds low.
I was making 90k in LA with the same stats FYI. Ask for more money.
They won't give u shit unless u bring in another offer. 15% is standard for promos outside of strategy
I'm like A 3 :D
I have an M.Eng so my starting base was higher. If I started at the regular base I'd be at probably 88k or so. I've been getting crap raises though since my base is high for my level
Nope! I know the guy well. Strategy is structured differently...wish it was across the firm, but their bill rates are higher.
A2 yeah I got the SA promotion at like a 6% raise, and I assume this year will be a low raise because I'm not up for promotion... :/ Womp
But yeah when I started in SF, all my (non strat) peers were at 85 as well, even without engineering degrees, so i thought it was the same overall now
B - 22
Thanks for the insight and advice guys
What's TAL and points? And how do I look up mine? New 🐠
For what it's worth, I came on as SA at 80k, 2 years in got up to 90. Then I left for industry,
Go to performance and you can see your progression point and time at level (TAL)
@A3 How do you bring up external offer and to who?
Your cc from what I heard
WTF. I'm a consultant in LA making 96K base. (digital strategy) How on earth do you make 93K as a SA?
Experienced hires tend to start higher at SA.
A6 what wasyour salary before that? I'm at 91k as an SA in digital (7 months at level). Are you aligned to digital or strat officially?
A2 same degree, do they really pay us higher? And did you get a raise last year? You have more TAL than I do, and I'm not sure NYC is paid more than SF. Wasn't when I started
