how long should a resume really be?
I have an initial recruiter phone interview with Square Thursday. Is it it just a phone call or is it a video call and they didnโt specify. If itโs a video call whatโs the dress code like? Iโm coming from consulting so all my interviews were in suits. Any tips to get past the recruiter phone screen?

Itโs for any job, not just advertising jobs. This idea can work in a lot of industries, from a clothing store someone wants to work for to a big tech company. Itโs fun.
You have to look long and hard and pretty damn generously to find the word โpizzaโ in ResZAme

Isnโt the โresume in a pizzaโ thing twenty or thirty years old at this point?
Thereโs a viral story of a recent grad working as a pizza deliverer and gave her resume & chatted with everyone she delivered to, eventually getting hired. This feels like stealing her creative idea, but much worse execution. If itโs a multinationalโs idea for anyone to use, then itโs no longer showing off an individualโs creativity and hutzpah.
Only available in NYC means itโs not a genuine attempt to help, but callous awards bait. Iโm also pretty doubtful these will lead to any hires, I wouldnโt be swayed by receiving one of these. If all it took was getting your res into someoneโs hands in a unique way, weโd all be at our dream agencies.

My problem is that they are well aware how many people are out of work right now. Especially with how many resumes they get daily. People are actually having to move to make ends meet. But hey just slap your resume on our pizza box so WE can win some awardsโฆ
I think it's mostly aimed at people entering the job market, recent grads according to what I saw. It's a fun idea to help someone stand out and also get some news about PH. You all are taking it too seriously.

Awards bait. Made for us, not to actually help people or sell pizzas. Wish the industry spent more time making fun work that actually did what itโs supposed to do. (Of course, weโd need clients who allow it too)

Hard no. Itโs not unique and comes across as a quick fix approach. Tell me about my businesses, tell me about my clients, tell me why those are important to you. Effort will always outweigh gimmicks.
