Y’all can’t drive on a good day! As a Chicagoan, I am both laughing and not leaving my house if this does happen. Dodge Chargers aren’t going to take me out.
I sure hope so bc my little son is literally praying to God every night for snow and it’s adorable. He wants to throw some snowballs ⛄️
If they even get it partially right, it will be a mess. I grew up with regular winter storms in the northeast, and I'm not scared of driving in snow. I am, however, scared of the other drivers in ATL who have no clue how to drive in bad weather. The lack of road cleaning apparatus is likewise concerning, although understandable given we only get snow maybe every 5 years. I'm just planning on working from home until the roads are back to normal.
My thoughts exactly!
I lived in Seattle for a bit where snow was an actual issue. Watching people go into full on pandemic mode over 1 inch of snow is funny.
Yeah, it’s something we make fun of ourselves for too. But when it only snows once every eight years, we just don’t invest in the infrastructure for that. It would be silly to have 100 snow plows that would only be used once every eight years.
Perfectly logical, how else can one be expected to survive a day or possibly two of nasty weather?! I take everything the meteorologists say with a grain of salt. I won't believe it's going to snow until I see it.
My sister lives in the DFW area and it's an identical scenario for them. Will it or won't it... either way, let's go stock up on perishables!
