A Facebook (Meta) recruiter reached out to me about a role and we have a call about it. Is there a way to ask about how this role will evolve (or dissolve) in a recession especially given Metas recent layoffs and hiring freezes in certain departments

Anyone have any idea when the hiring freeze might end within AWS ProServ? I’m currently at Amazon and have a TS clearance, PMP & CSM. I come from a Big4 consulting firm with a background in Enterprise Performance. I’ll be honest and say I’m not feeling very safe in my current role with the ongoing layoffs. Instead of leaving, I’d love to go back to my “consulting roots” and join the ProServ team. I’m taking my AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner exam next weekend. Hoping this freeze is lifted soon.

HR provided the feedback as I am not rejected bit not fit for the role so they have put me in talent plus pool. What should I expect next and does this mean that I may get the offer ?

I love in Europe and was wondering how difficult or easy getting remote front end position in a US company would be and if the salary would be the same as a US citizen who lives in the US?

I’m a newer registered nurse (2 years) and want to get into remote work. I keep getting denied due to lack of experience but to even get the job I have now (case manager) the company knew one of my family members and they gave me a chance to interview because of that. For these remote companies where I don’t have connections how can I transition over?

(With a no a a response) I want to put in my two weeks notice to see if they would consider giving me a pay increase.. but I don’t have a back up plan right now to do so. Any suggestions.
